Drink lots of water; stay away from foods with high fructose corn syrup, enriched flour, sugar, hydrogenated oils and saturated fat. Eat plenty of whole grains, vegetables, oils which are liquid at room temperature and protein with polyunsaturated fats. Aerobic excercises like fast walking, jogging, jumproping, cycling and aerobics classes or even dancing! Good Luck!

Cardio exercise is very important to losing the fat around the mid section and so is your diet. Try cutting back on any foods made with trans fats (hydrogenated oils) and refined sugars.
I heard that 100% virgin organic coconut oil helps you to lose weight because it has the omega 3 that we need. Just take 1 tablespoon every morning.
If you have time in the evenings, trying doing some abdominal crunches to build muscle so that you can lose the fat quicker.
