Thai Military launches coup, Muslim general takes power http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/013205.php

Those of you who keep up with world news already know that a military coup just recently overthrew the Taiwnese government. The successor was installed by the Jihadist coup leader, and, suprise suprise, is now giving in to the demands of the Islamic insurgency of South Thailand.

Thailand is predominately Budhist, but, Budhists are largely pacifists although historically they have tried before to defend themselves from Jihadist ethnic cleasing efforts.

I think Darwin or Nietzsche would just sigh or chuckle. As pretty as Budhist doctrines are, and as psychologically useful as they are...they are no match for Jihad.

Christianty has the same pacifism, and indeed, all the pacifists in America are Christian...which is exactly where they got their doctrine of pacifism. I mean, what could possibly be a more extreme example of pacifism then "love your enemy". It does sound pretty...even now as an agnostic I still think so, but its doesnt work. Bye bye Thailand.

You got your facts wrong. The general that lead the coup is of the Muslim faith but the newly appointed Prime Minister is a Buddhist;moreover, the coup got nothing to do with religion, more to do with dissatisfaction with the previous PM.
The terrorists in S.Thailand are of the Muslim faith and they are trying to portray their struggle as a religious struggle when in actual fact they are nothing more than terrorists.
Their modus operandi is to kill Buddhist monks, teachers and school children on one hand and on the hand they killed Muslim and try to blame it on the government.
Sad to say,Thailand,Muslim neigbours are helping the terrorists!

I go with, 'keep your friend's close, keep your enemies closer'. What better way to win a war if they don't see you coming!!! Buddhists and Christians are pretty smart in my opinion.
