Definitely not!
As the term says, a US-born-citizen is a citizen, who was born in the US and not in an other country!
That is important in regards to various positions, which are restricted for natural born US citizens only, like the position of the president!
For example, even if the great majority of the American citizens would want so, Arnold Schwarzenegger could never be president of the US, because he is not a natural born American citizen!

NO, i'm a "naturalized" citizen myself. HOWEVER, we have all the same rights and laws as if i were born here. Its more of a label really.

mariposa--he said citizens that are naturalized...in your scenario the baby would be a US born citizen to begin with.

Yes, if there parents are US citizens. Say your dad is in the military and you were born in Germany. Your dad decided that he wanted you to be a US citizen instead of a Germany citizen. You're still a natural citizen.

No, they are not born citizens. Born citizens were born here. Apart from that, what is the practical difference, however?
