All these years, I've studied hours upon hours and was never able to do well on tests. Finally, the other day I read some sites and found out about the "Tactile Learner", one who has to "DO" to learn such as making projects, using hand movements, etc. Kinda seems like we get screwed over in comparison to Visual/Audio learners heh, but anyway.
I'm wondering what strategies "Tactile Learners" use when studying for a big test? I really need to pass my Bio test to basically pass the class. The first one on many sites is: "Walk back and forth while reading the book". That kinda seems ridiculous, especially since my Bio book is heavy =\ I'm not exactly sure on what i should do?

Here's what I did, all those many years ago - and pulled a near 4 pt average, in college . . .

Writing - EVERYTHING - on index cards . . .

Then I'd memorize the 'notes' made, by their colors and locations on the index cards ---- worked every time. . . in tests? I just closed my eyes and 'saw' the index card, with the info that I needed/ / / it works, altho it takes a very long time to learn this way. . . Took me an extra year to get thru college, but, oh well . . .

Copy the info you need to know into a notebook, the action of writing will help you learn and retain the knowledge. Good luck!
