I'm a juvenile officer, and I have about 75 active cases. Our adult officers in our department have about 160-200, depending upon the types of clients they serve.
Juvenile officers usually have a lower client load since we have to deal with the clients AND their families.

I hear their caseloads are huge, which is why (at least here) if you have finished all your community service, etc etc. you can get off in half your sentence.
