She is 14 and im 16 and we have known each other for about a year and just decided that we should go out. So we are going out on our first date soon and i wanted to know if i should get her something on our first date together and if you think yes, what kind of gift?

I think you should not get her a gift. It is just the first date after all. But if you think you should get her a gift, you need to follow your instinct. You have known her for a year so you should have a sense at what she would want. Just do what you think is right and have fun on your date!

If your going to get her anything, maybe a flower, but you dont even have to do that.
Honestly, just make sure you have the date planned out before and show her a good time. Although it sounds sweet, a gift on the first date might freak someone out.

alright nothing big in $ you want to give her something sweet like the day of your date have someone send her roses with a very cute card with a love poem. She'll die!!! Then when you go pick her up give her one rose!!! and 1 of those big kiss things. See her reaction and maybe kiss her. That would be the perfect gift.

Just bring her 1 rose. You don't have to do anthig more for now. Also a box of candy would be nice. She is only 14 and maybe you can find out what cd she likes for the future.

Flowers are definitely a good idea. The idea is not to be fancy but something small and sweet, like a 5 dollar bouquet.

It might be sweet if you got her something small, like a single red rose....but don't do too much-- she might think it is a little creepy...
and don't worry about her having to carry it around...if you are going to pick her up at her house (which a gentleman would do) she can put it in a vase and leave it there.

if u get her anything it should be something like flowers and/or candy. u don't want to give the impression that u r a guy who gives gifts that easy because she may become accustomed to it. material gifts are earned throughout the relationship.

Women like a nice pretty rose ( red , pink, peach or yellow ) on a first date. If you really want to give her any gift.

How sweet! I assume you're picking her up at her home. I'd recommend a box of chocolates or her favorite flowers. If you don't know what she likes, ask one of her friends. A rose & a candy bar also impress.
