watch her tonight and see how she is in the morning. Check her paw area again in good lighting she might have a sliver in the paw or tore the toe nail. Good luck and give it a kiss from me. I called a vet on sunday night because I thought my dog had a broken leg and just before we left and we opened the door to go back outside she was just fine. It was 6:00 pm I am sure the vet was not real happy when I called back and said never mind.
when you rate this question let us know how your dog is

I understand waiting to see if it improves, but keep in mind that if it is broken, the vet needs to see the dog soon if anything is to be done. If you wait too long, the vet won't be able to set the paw if needed, and it will either have to heal in the position it broke in, or will need surgery to set it.
Dogs don't try to bite their owners unless they are in considerable pain. I'd get the vet to evaluate it; if it isn't broken then all you wasted was $30 for a vet visit, and the cost of an x-ray.
Hope this helps!

I wouldn't delay, first thing in the morning if he is still favoring the leg I would call the vet and get him in for an x-ray. If it is a fracture it is better to be treated right away.

First, if the dog allows, search the pads for any possible cuts, pebbles, or thorns. If none is found and he seems to continue to be in pain, call a vet.

There is no way of knowing whether its broken or not. Take your dog to the vet asap. This will ensure that your pet does not suffer needlessly.
