Most jewish people in this generation don't like that they "can't" do something, so they ignore kosher and everything.

By the way although I'm a christian I eat kosher. Pigs don't taste good anyway!

I lived in an Orthodox Jewish community for years and left just a year ago. The Orthodox Jews in my old neighborhood strictly followed the dietary laws. An organization that I belong to now meets at the Jewish community center and they ask us not to bring pork in and to watch what refrigerator we put specific items in so as not to mix dairy with other foods. It appears to me that plenty of Jews still follow the dietary laws. Perhaps it depends on the sect. I don't know but this is what I see around me.

Most of my Jewish friends are pretty secular. They would celebrate the major holidays, but not adhere to Orthodox Judaism. In fact, my friend calls the the Orthodox "OJs". Most Jews in the US probably are rather secular, but I would not say this is true globally.

What part of the Jewish Tradition do they follow? It doesn't make sense. They no longer sacrifice, they no longer keep the dietary laws. What the heck makes them Jewish then?

it is true that most people dont keep kosher now. the reason is that some people choose to be less observant of judaism and dont llike to follow what they are supposed to do.

How would you imagine the Jews if God is the one saying how obstinate and stubborn are they as His children? Do you think God is just saying that for the Jews just to get to their senses? How would you picture the face of Moses when he went down and saw his people have already carved out image of a golden calf as they danced around it? what kind of mentality do you think the Jews in general have? When they were just newly taken out of slavery?
