if you love her, just think about her everytime you start to make a move on another chick, flip it and put u in the same situation, you wouldnt like it. and if you get an urge, call her/text her/ just get to her. and keep her knowing that you miss her, my dad was in the army and he went to iraq, he sent my mom long letters (as well as me and my brother) and he would send her flowers to her work and everythin just randomly, he called everynight (except when they had field he would call at 4am -- but my mom waited up everynight) he would email her 3 and 4 times a day.
i mean it was really sweet.

Do the same thing your girlfriend is doing back in Texas to stay true to you. If you "really love her" then you will stay true to her out of love and respect. If you go to parties...control what and how much you drink (alcohol) so you don't do something you may regret later

If you believe in your heart that she's your "true love", why don't you make a commitment and ask her to move with you?
If that is not an option, it would be a good idea for the two of you to discuss what you will expect of one another during your separation, and also your long-term goals for the relationship.
If you cannot resist temptation, or find yourself growing apart from her, please have a heart-to-heart with her to re-evaluate your relationship's direction. It will be a lot easier on both of you than cheating before you end things.
Best wishes to both of you, and good luck!
