Hi..interesting question...
Not believing in God does not make you a bad person...God loves you, even if you can't believe that He exists.
Why are you concerned with dying young? Do you think that some "force" will zap you for not believing in God? If you think that, then somewhere inside, you must have some questions.

As for going to hell; I have some beliefs that I've been "scolded" for having, here on YA and from others.
As for Hell; the meaning of Hell, is the "grave', and we all go there when we die. In reality, Hell is NOT an everburning fire that torments us night and day, for eternity. That comes from "Dantes Inferno"...and is NOT the truth. The loving God that I believe in, tells us that He doesn't want anyone to perish, so that's why God offers us a real chance, at some point in the future, to accept Him, and Jesus, and to live as we were meant to live, in peace and happiness. After learning this, IF we still chose to live as we formerly did, disobey, and NOT accept this new knowledge, we'll be put into a fire ( not Hell) that consumes us, burns us up completely, as if we never existed...That's it...
Sounds like a loving God to me!

Some people in the world have never seen the ocean, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And it doesn't make them bad for not believing in it. It is natural to doubt things unless you can touch or see them. However, there is a supreme force of energy that has created things in a very intricate and organized fashion. Our existence did not just happen as a manner of chance. Our creator can only consist of truth and love. You will not die young or go to an imagined hell because of your beliefs. But the best advice is to keep your heart open and you may acquire much wisdom in the matter of things unseen as you get older. The laws of nature were created for our benefit. So if you believe that you are loved by a creator and will be given what you need to not only survive, but enjoy your stay on planet earth; you will be much happier. Give it a try. You can tell a tree by the fruit it bears. If you decide to believe in a loving creator and your life improves, then that will be the proof you are searching for.

My dear young man. I can hear your heart's cry all the way here to Canada. No you don't want to die young or go to hell. I don't want you to either. I find so many people who do not believe in God that are truly wonderful human beings. You may never do anything really wrong in your whole life. I say this to you in all humility. Every human being, all of us, have done wrong things, sin, is what God calls it. All have sinned. Because of this when we die we can not face God without this blame on us. He will judge all our actions, all of our words. You must be perfect. Who could possibly stand before this God. Not me and not you. Jesus came to take our sins away, so that on that day He will stand with you and all your sins will be cover by His sacrifice.Believing in God takes faith, to believe in something you don't see. God can give you that kind of faith if you ask for it. I sincerely hope that you find the truth about Jesus, you will never be sorry, my friend.

If you don't believe in God, then why are you are worried about dying young or going to hell? Hell is getting very crowded these days and they are releasing people early. Only the worst offenders are spending eternity there.

But to answer the question no you are not a bad person. Carl Sagan, Albert Einstein, and many others did not believe in God and history thinks very fondly on them.

We all have choices we have to make. If you
do not believe in God, that's your choice. Most
bad people do not believe in God because God
turns your life around to be a good person if you
believe in Him and follow his guidings. There is
also the promise of life eternal, which without
God, there is no promise. (I always wonder how
people think the world began if they don't believe
in a Supreme power that created the world and all
that's in it. Surely you can't possibly believe in a
"Big Bang" and there was fruit trees, humans,
animals, mountains, streams, oceans, forests,
sky, moon, sun, and stars? Couldn't possibly happen
that way. Hope you see His LIght soon. God Bless.)

You are not a bad person. You will not go to hell. God will not kill you young for not believing in him. God's will is for everyone to chose to follow him or not. They will still be saved. Anything I left out?

Well if you do not believe in God, I am afraid hell would be the only option for you when you die. It is only through Jesus Christ that one can be forgiven of sin and granted eternal life in Heaven- See John 14:6.

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;

"For the wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23 -and Revelation 20 speaks of the "second death" which is the lake of fire, those whose names are not found in the book of life are cast there....the book of life holds the names of the saints of God- those who are saved in Jesus Christ.

Of course it doesn't make you a bad person, though I'm not exactly sure why you would fear Hell if you do not believe in God.

Blessed Be

Heb 11 says Without Faith it is impossible to please God for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and he is a rewarder of those who seek Him......

its not a matter of god or bad were all lost without faith in Jesus and His death burial and resurection...

John 3:16 says it best For God so loved the World that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.....

No it doesn't make you a bad person.

And it doesn't mean you'll die young or go to hell...

In fact you'll probably live longer because knowing that you're not going to hell means that you're not stressing yourself with the worry of going to hell!!

people with stress free lives tend to live longer
