My son is 3 1/2 and he loves the book "Hey Pancakes" Its a fun book for kids. He had the book memorized in no time.
I think its a book that kids from 1 to age 5 or 6 would enjoy.
Its about brothers/sisters who get up early and make pancakes, they flip and flop them around the kitchen. Make a mess then clean it up.....

Any of the Sandra Boynton books. My daughter's favorites were Barnyard Dance and Pajama Time.

learn colors, shapes, counting to 10. .88 cents @walmart.
Fun ones could be Ariel,Belle,Snow white, anything princess my 19 month old is in love with them all.
Try your local dollar store book section excellent choices.
