I would like a career measuring air quality, water quality etc. What is the average salary of that career, and what is the proper name for a career like that so I can google it. Thanks

There are three levels in these careers: technicians, scientists, and mangers. Managers make the highest salaries, followed by scientists, then technicians. These fields generally fit under environmental health, environmental protection, environmental specialist. An associates degree such as the one at Kent State would be suitable for a technician position. I don't know the salary range. Maybe you could search the web for vacancy announcements after you find the best descriptor.
