that everyone loses 21 grams at the point of death? I just watched this Sean Penn movie (it was pretty good) wherein the character states that at the end of the movie. By the way, he adds the tag, "What do we gain.....what do we gain?"

Well, I checked out what it said at Snopes and you are wrong. It said YES, but to a different question. The question asked there had been, "Has a doctor ever tried to prove this theory?" and the answer was "Yes." The results were not conclusive according to some.

And to you who thinks my question is stupid, I'm real concerned about something that someone who wants to look like Benny Hill says. lol.

It is true that we lose approx. 21 grams of weight at out time of death. But you must remember this is a very small amount--only 3/4 of an ounce. Most physicians say this loss of weight is merely the very last bit of air expelled from our lungs. But believers in the afterlife claim this weight loss is the result of the soul leaving the body.
I like to believe the last idea!

No, it's a popular fiction. In stories, it makes it look like the soul, or spirit, can be weighed. However it apparently does not have a gram of truth to it.
EDIT: By most people's definition, the soul, or spirit, is immaterial and therefore cannot weigh anything. However I do not agree that it is a stupid question. It has been suggested by many because of the popularizing of the idea in stories, and it's normal that one would wonder if there was any basis to it.
In any case, as someone (I don't remember who) once said, no question is a stupid question - there are only stupid answers.

it's total nonsense, do you think there were a bunch of roving scientists that went around weighing people that were close to death on very accurate scales, waited until they died and then weighed them again? somehow I doubt it

yes it is true
however you loose a lot of bodily fluids so they would have to take that into account if they want to suggest what the soul weighs
