You're 23 years old, you meet someone and you two start hitting it off nicely. You enjoy having eachother around and it seems as though you two will end up being together. Then you find out that the other person is 19 years old. What do you do?

ok... i would find out the age way before that other stuff would happen. But who cares, technically that would make the other person an adult and sometimes age doesn't matter, it's all about how mature they are!

Hi, 4 years isn't that much younger. If you have a lot in common, and it seems you do, then just enjoy it. When you care for someone and enjoy each other's company, it doesn't matter the age. I could see if you were 23, divorced, and had children. Well that could pose a problem for the 19 year old. She would just be starting out her life and then be tied with a man and kids. That may be a little too much for someone to handle especially if you are a young adult. I say, go with your feelings, enjoy each other, and take note of your compatibilities. If the mix is right, then why break it? Good Luck. Always listen to that little voice inside of you. It is always right. Don't think with your head, think with your heart.

That age difference isn't that big of a deal. He/she is not underage.
Plus, if you're already hitting it off, the 19 year old must be quite mature, so why make the small age gap an issue?

She's 19? That's not too bad, at least you're both legal. But if you don't like it, you could suspend things for a year or more, or break them off entirely. Just a thought. Be sure to explain yourself so that she knows it's nothing to do with her.

ask em if they like older men and if they have much of a problem with your age. dont bring it up anymeo then once or you will sound insecure. not good. as for her. most guys like younger women. personally i like a little bit older but dont really care if tehy are 16 or 19. and im 16.. only reason not 14 to 19 is bc my sister and younger brother are 14 SO not good.. anyways just ask.

What's the problem? Age is a number. Compatibility is what counts. If you have a problem because you can't take the person to a bar then she must not be that special. Really look inside yourself for this one.

Danger, dude.Lying isn't a good impression. If the other partner added 4yrs to his/her age then imagine the number of other lies that may have being told to make that margin.Would it surprise you later if your partner tells you that he/she is a fugitive.
this is BAD BAD news.A lie takes a thousand more to cover up,so i guess you should be up for more surprises.
