You've read the definitions and obviously you're old enough to understand them.

I think you know the answer without anyone having to tell you but you love your parents very much and you don't want to think that it's happening to you.

They probably love you very much too. But if you fit the definition you need to get in touch with someone who can help you.

What gobi9g said is true keep a diary with type of injury or what was said with the date. The reason for the diary is because if anyone accused you of lying it would be proof and pictures is a definite plus.Yes sweetie it is abuse and you should tell a teacher and a school counselor.Once you tell that person they should take action immediately.
ps...when they call you ugly that just means that they hate themselves and they are not deserving of you.And keep in mind that you deserve better.Dont worry go to a teacher or a councilor they will help you and it will get better.

Beacause of your age you should be asking for advice from professional people in your area, not so much strangers here. It is good you are checking in and asking for help but instead, talk to your teacher, school principal or school counselor. If you have no counselor at your school, the district can send someone to speak with you. Keep a diary of injuries or situations. Keep the diary at school if you can and date every entry. Just write down injuries, neglect, bad words, name calling, injuries etc. Describe things very well. You may need a professional counselor outside of school. Your school may be able to find a counselor for free or on a sliding scale, meaning, if you have less money they charge you less. Please seek the advice of a real counselor in your town. You have told your friends so seem to have no fear that people will find out. Talk to a professional person at school on Monday. Ask to speak to them after school or at lunch if you want to keep it private.

From what you say, your parents, ect do more than simply spank you, once and awhile. If that's true, then yes, it's abuse. There's no moral reason for abuse, where as there is always one for discipline. But real discipline is spanking and talking- never punching, beating, neglect nor verbal abuse. I think it's safe to say, young lady, that your friends are right!

Get a friend to take a photo of your lip right away. Talk to your guidance counselor at school, once you tell what has been done, they have to report it and you will be taken away from those abusers. If you don't report it, you life will only get worse. I feel so terribly sorry for you. Since you have access to a computer, maybe you could go to www.drphil.com and contact him for some advice. Please, please tell someone right away.

i agree with the person above me. take a pic of where youve been hurt just to prove it, try to use a disposable cam or a digital one so they can see the date and time. try to get to an adult you trust, like your favorite teacher.

i hope everything works out for you. stay strong.

I feel so sorry for you, this is sick and SHOULD NOT BE.
Is there someone else in your family you can trust?
Go to a domestic violence shelter and ask for assistance.
They will have more experience than anyone else with that.
