Crown Royal is a premium whisky. If you're going to mix with cola, save your money and get a cheaper brand. You'll never notice the difference. And Dr. Pepper, that's just wrong. If you like sweet drinks stick with coolers.

Crown Royal should be drank with Crown Royal, but if you need a chaser there is only one choice, Royal Crown cola, commonly known as RC cola. Plus its only like 99 cents for a 2-liter. RC and CR has fueled many a great night of mine.

I find that whiskey and cola tastes best together when neither the whiskey or the cola is too sweet. Coke is usually the best bet because it not as sweet as Pepsi. IMO Doctor Pepper would be just too God Awful cherry sweety to use.

I prefer it with pepsi because I find the sweetness of the combination to be a little less overwhelming that way.
