At this time of year specifically I think its because this is also the time of year where Christians get bashed on the most. During the year people arent fussing much about Nativity Scenes or calling any other holiday "Holiday". It seems like this time of year people yell "GET JESUS AWAY FROM ME!!" the loudest.

I don't really agree with your general statement. You imply that it is all Christians in general. Also, you would have to clarify what you mean by "force it down your throat", as this is as often over/mis used term.
First of all, Muslims would have no reason to, as there is not a special relationship between this season and that religion.
The only religions that have special occasions this time of year are Christian and Jewish.
If you are a citizen of the United States of America, we have in our Constitution granted the right to the free exercise of our chosen religion. You also have the right to ignore other people practicing their religion. The idea is that everyone should be able to practice their religion side-by-side with each other, atheists included.
The Christmas holiday itself is a traditional time to reflect on God fulfilling His promise to send a savior to save the world. The history of that event is reflected in the other traditions surrounding this holiday.
For most of us who are Christians, it is a very happy time that we want to celebrate and share with others. Some get a little exuberant in their sharing, but in general should not be taken in any way as someone trying to "force" it upon you -- though, I obviously can not speak for everyone. Actually, to force it upon you would be against Jesus' teachings in the first place. You would have to accept it on your own.
There are other religions that will try to force things on you, either at other times, or in general, but that is another discussion.
Please also know that I do understand that there are those who would try to force Christian doctrine upon you, but that is not indicative of Christianity in general.
I hope that can help you to understand us, and I hope that can not take offense to our celebration.

I just don't see this. Are a bunch of people who don't like Christianity making this stuff up? I think in reality the Christians are just living as Christians but some want to completely do away with any mention of Christ and so at this time of year when Christians celebrate His birth people act as if Christianity is being forced on them. In reality what seems to be being forced is the Christians into oblivion.

I don't think its forced down any ones throat. There are three reasons why I believe Christmas can be interpreted that way. We live in a predominately Christian country. We live in a free society were Religious expression is permitted and exercised. Last of the three reasons is that Christmas has become very commercialized. If anything, its the commercialization of Christmas that has force it down peoples throats more than any thing else.

I guess first I would have to ask
Why does it bother you so much that Christianity is celebrated at this time of year?
Why the anger?
I don't force anything down anyones throat so why when I express my beliefs am I considered forcing it down your throat?
Anyway no other religion does this? No they just crash planes into buildings, use vulgar language to get their point across, make fun of other faiths and start wars in the name of their religion.
I think you have more to worry about than Christianity being shoved down your throat!!!!!
God Bless

The Christians are made for a mission.
Jesus said, " Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And sure I am with you always, to the very end of age." Matthew 28 :19 - 20
To fulfill the Christian mission will require that they abandon their agenda and accept God's agenda for their life. Christians can't just " tack it on" to all the other things they like to do with their life. Christians must say, like Jesus, " Father, ... I want your will, not mine" Luke 22:42. They yield their rights, expectations, dreams, plans, and ambitions to him. Christian basically hand God a blank sheet with their name signed at the bottom and tell him to fill in the details. The Bible says, " Give yourselves completely to God- every part of you... to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for his good purposes" Romans 6:13b
Jesus has promised, " [God ] will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern" Matthew 6:33.
I hope you understand, and that this was enough information for you, to explain why Christian act the way they do..... also Christian are basically individuals too, like everyone else, God made us all just a bit different:)
Love and Peace!

I guess you could say that truth hurts. The other religions are created by man. The devil doesn't want people to know the truth, so he fights the Christianity more so than the others. THat is why we have to fight so hard for people to understand that you must be saved, baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost in order to get to heaven, and after that you must live right...it is all over the bible. It is our job to spread the word.

Not all Christians are that way. Avoid the fanatics. Remember, they celebrate this time of year as the birth of Jesus.
Just because I believe the bible is a piece of fiction, does not preclude me from Santa.
Nor do I want to deny any religion it's right to its celebrations.

I'd love to know that too! I'll be keeping an eye on this post!
They'll say it's because of the birth of Jesus, though this is not correct, his birthday is sometime in the first half of the year.
This time of year was traditionally celebrated by pagans who called it winter solstice (or however you spell it) so this time of year has no real, specific connotations at all.

The Truth is Jesus Christ. The world must know of the One who died for us and was risen from the dead.
I have never shoved my faith down anyone's throat. Most of those who have this attitude can't stand hearing the truth. That is why people get agitated like you.
