I just got a piercing at the back/middle of my scalp and I noticed that it is secreting a deep purple fluid with a putrid stink...what is this? Has anyone else experienced this? I went back to the piercing parlor and the woman who pierced my scalp told me that it was not normal and gave me some ecinechea oil to put on the oozing hole in my head, but its not working and its soooo foul. Please help, my family deserted me and my bf dumped me because it was so nasty!

Please don't mention the part about my family deserting me because indeed I can guarentee it is true and I don't really like talking about it, much less seeing it in text!

Either dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room NOW!!!! That is not normal at all and I have friends who do have piercings. Get yourself to the hospital now. You need medical attention right away. I can't believe you actually came on yahoo to ask first. What were you thinking! You could have a major infection or worse, the piercing could have went to far in and be lodged in the sac that protects your brain...which could be fatal, so get your a** to the ER now!

Initially thought this was a serious question but when I read your family deserted you concluded must be some joke?Family would take you to Emergency Immediately for obvious you would be having a infection possibly gangrene for puzzled as to why no pain should be acute and although true that the brain itself feels no pain there is still the scalp,the skull and so on. Would have also advised you to disontinue th oil fo may be more harmful than beneficial besides that particular herb has no effect on bacteria,infection nor does it promote healing.but used at the onset of a cold.

First of all OUCH ! secondly i dunno why you got this I've never heard of it anyways - no judgements made..
I think you should go to the Emergency room right away it could be cranial fluids ( CFS fluids) leaking if your piercing is anywhere close to your neck or they pierced or fractued your skull bone.
Or an infection or something similar
Its quite dangerous to leak anything from the head whether is any colour - so please go to a hospital to avoid any other health issues

oh man... dont tell me the juice is purple!!!! Did u throw the liquid away?? Save it up i wll sure purchase it for more then millions please contact me ASAP i need this wonder tonic it will build strong bones and mutate my body parts thats just what i want!!! Cant wait!!! I think its your "brain juice" the scientific name is encephalon patroleum and it is what keeps your brain from drying up or losing blood if the head is punctured. YOU NEED A DOCTOR RIGHT NOW! OR THE WORST OF THE WORST MAY HAPPEN TO YOU! can cause brain damage, paralyzation, or death!!!
