I have a pain every now and then on my right side between my rib cage and top of my hip and to the right of my belly button! It hurts when I breathe in or sometimes if I move to quickly. The deeper I breathe the more it hurts - kinda like a stabbing pain! Is it anything to be concerned about?

every now and then I get weird pains in strange places over my body at different times. I'm 22 and female and perfectly healthy. One time I was just typing away like I am now and I felt like I had a hole going through my ribs. I imagined a spike in my left side and hurint all the way to my back. It went away after a few minutes. I had trouble breathing and I felt paralysized for a minute or two from pain and fear of it spreading.

I think that it could just be nerves pinching. I really don't think about it. But for you, if it happens a lot I'd seek a doctor's help. I'm in the military and get free medical service, but I still wouldnt waste my time with this stuff (personality) because it goes away and it's nothing that I can pin point. Like, when, how often, etc. And since it's not consistant there's really nothing tehy can do for me. But that's just me.

Did you say right lower quadrant pain(below your belly button)? if you did, do you have diarrhea or a low grade fever? Do it hurt when you press on the opposite side and then release? if you answered yes to any of these question then you may very well have appendicitis! Which means you need to have some blood checked immediately. Go to the ER or After Hours Clinic.now, okay!

Ive had that before and I think its a heartburn type syndrome. I used to have it about once a week but it would go away after a an hour or two. I'm still alive and have had no major health worries with it... Its just a MAJOR PAIN!

appendicitis maybe. get it checked out. it could just be a stitch in your side from running for a long time or somethinglike that. if it happens when you are just sitting or walking, go to the er. it could be dangerous
