you can buy long life milk
uht milk it is called
ultra high temperature,
it is treated at high temp for longer than normal pasteurisation, killing more of the bacteria

one teaspoon of hydrogen pyroxide per gallon does help. it does leave a slight taste though not strong

Put it in the freezer. Don't know how long it will keep in the freezer for though.
