i hurt my knee three weeks ago and its still bothering me . i been to the doctor but he cant find whats wrong with it . but it still painful and i limp when i walk on it . should i go back to the doctor for a second opinion or should i leave it alone and see if it heals . also i cant make love to my husband because hes afraid he will hurt my knee . can you please help us . thanks .

Go to a doctor but not the same doctor. Maybe the 2nd doctor can help you out

if it hurts after a while still it could mean that you didn't treat it well enough to heal immeadiately after it started, which can cause repeated injury. It could be something more permanent though, like arthitis, which medication can help.

it could be something simple like bursitis (infalmation of little things inside your knee) or more severe like ligament damage, your regular physician wont be able to find it. ask for a orthapedic doctor
