I have a female cocaktiel which was tamed. As time passed i ddint spend much time with it. After a few days when i took it out the same this occured. So i guess it got a little untamed. is it a handfed one? if its not then its likely to happen.
Another reason can be another bird. If you have onother bird with her then they both will bond and become aggressive towards humans.

Please take your bird to the vet. She may be ill or just going through "puberty." You mention that she was flying around. If you're going to keep a bird as a pet, she really should have her wings clipped. This will keep her from flying into something that could harm her like a window or a ceiling fan. Also, when a bird can fly, they become more independent and don't want to spend as much time with you. This may also be why she's biting, and she may be squeaking so much because she wants to be out of her cage. Also make sure you have her on a proper diet, that she has clean water every day and that you keep her cage clean. You don't say what type of bird you have, so it's hard to be more specific. But please do take her to a vet for a physical and to have her wings clipped. Most of all, be patient with her, talk to her in a soothing, calm voice and give her a lot of love!

Have you moved something around her cage? Have you introduced any new furniture in "her" room? Have any new people been around lately? New noises? New food? Anything you change in a birds life may cause the bird to act "abnormal" or "agressive". Think about it for a minute and try to change things one by one and see what makes a difference. Good Luck.

I'm guessing your bird went "psycho" because she was scared. I have birds, and one in particular is the lovingest most cuddly bird there is, but every now and then I'll scare her, and she'll get mean and try to bite me. I just put her back and wait til another time and she's fine again.
It also might have something to do with breeding season. What kind of bird is it? Have you noticed any physical changes?
I have no idea what "skeaked" is, sorry.

I would definatly get the birds wings clipped. When birds have the flight ability they think they are the top of the flock. I think that will help you. Do not cut blood feathers though. A lot of petstores will do it for free or a small fee, or even your local vet, that is if you do not feel comfortable doing it yourself.

Wll, after she flew out of her cage I'm sure she was nervous because she was flying around not knowing where she was and what all the weird, scary objects were.

How old is your bird?
What species is she?
Do you know for sure is it's a female.
When parrots reach sexual maturity, things change.
Female lovebirds do exactly what you just described when they reach sexual maturity.
More info please.
