I'm not sure. All I know is everybody needs to lighten up. If Jesus was the 'Son of God' and He called His apostles brothers, that makes us all sons of God. From my limited reading on the subject of Muhammad's life, I have ascertained that His message is one similar to that of Christianity. He believed that Jesus was the Messiah as stated in the Bible. To me it doesn't matter what Muhammad may have done that we feel is wrong. Great kings have laid siege to cities in the name of God. Let us remember that Holy Roman emperors spread Christianity. Let us pay attention to the messages; that we should be obedient to God for instance. The only difference I am seeing between the two religions is that Christianity teaches us that Jesus is part of the holy trinity and is actually God. We are all a part of God! Let us just simply say that Jesus is the Messiah. I think most Muslims believe this also.
And for God's sake, let us unite without violence! Judeochrislam!

What Wilkedia (Wikipedia) did you look up? Here is what I found:

Muhammad (Arabic محمد muḥammad; also Mohammed, Mohamet, and other variants[1] [2] [3]), 570-632 C.E.,[4] [5] was an Arab religious and political leader who established Islam and the Muslim community (Ummah, Arabic: أمة) in Mecca to whom he preached. He united the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula into a federation of allied tribes with its capital at Medina.

He is considered a prophet in Islam. Muslims do not regard him as the founder of a new religion, but rather believe him to be the last in a line of prophets of God (Arabic Allah) [6] and regard his mission as one of restoring the original monotheistic faith of Adam, Abraham and other prophets whose messages had become corrupted (only misinterpreted according to the majority of early and some modern scholars [7] [8]) by people over time.[9] [10] [11] For the last 23 years of his life, beginning at the age of forty, Muhammad reported receiving revelations from God delivered through the angel Gabriel. The content of these revelations, known as the Qur'an,[12] was memorized and recorded by his followers and compiled into a single volume shortly after his death. The Qur'an, along with the details of Muhammad’s life as recounted by his biographers and his contemporaries, forms the basis of Islamic theology.

Mohammad is the same.Prophet of Muslims.Even as per The Bible and Old testament God will send prophets to spread the message of God.But difference between Christians and Muslims is that according to Christians the last prophet was Jesus. But Muslims do not agree that and they believe that Mohammad was the last prophet.Jesus himself borrowed from other religions and The Bible teachings resemble the teachings in Hindu scripture Bhagavat Gita and non violence of Buddha. The name Jesus itself is derived from Hindu name Josuas or Joshuva

Wow, your wrongful speeling of Islam's most beloved Prophet-are you being ignorant or are you misinformed?

Anyways, plz read this...

Prophet Muhammad is a prohet in Islam just like Abraham, Jesus Christ, Mosses, and Noah, etc. Prophet Muhammad was a merchant-trader who invaded Mecca to protect his followers of Islam-Muslims from the hands of the non-Belivers (The ido worshipers who were polgoymists). He didn't rob caravans (as far as I know).

The one time he did raid caravans was when the idol worshipers began to assault and attack Muslims (Muslims had not split into two groups yet). War began and rading caravans was a military tactic. Prophet Muhammad (This is how you spell his name) was not a war-hawk, he wanted peace but the idol worshipers in Mecca didn't care for peace. Prophet Muhammad did this to protect his people. Most Westerns don't even have the slighest idea of how Islam began and its people and history, even the most learned Harvard and Oxford professors do not no jack **** about Islam. Islam is a religon of peace regardless of what you may see about them on CNN, btw have you ever met or talked to a Muslim, maybe you should ask this queston persoanally, and I assure you they well respond inteliigently and they won't cuss you out or anything........

MUSLIMS+ISLAM+Q'URAN= RELIGON OF PEACE

ISLAM COMES FROM THE ABRHAMIC TRADTIONS AND JEWS, MUSLIMS, AND CHRISTANS ARE KNOWN AS THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK.
