There are many translations, but only one Quran, there are no other versions. The two recommended English translations are either by Yusuf Ali or by Picktall. The Yusuf Ali translation is more in Old English style, like Shakespearean, so if you have difficulty with that, try Picktall. If your mother language is other than English, you should also be able to find a Quran in that as well.
Try http://www.islamicity.com/quran/ for different languages and translations.
Good luck on your studies!!
Oh, btw: remember to read the commentaries for the verses as well. They will help explain certain things such as events that happened and people and stories that you may never have heard of before. It may take longer to get through, but it will certainly help you understand alot.

That's pretty cool of you :) If you have any questions along the line, feel free to email me!
As was mentioned prior, the text of the actual Qur'an is one - and it is in Arabic. The different "versions" we have - are really just different translations of the Qur'an and not considered the actual Qur'an itself. If you can't understand something with the translation, there might be something in the Arabic that's hard to translate over.
By far the BEST website for searching or reading the Qur'an - and the most simple one (with the most options, especially if you're Muslim) - is
www.quranicrealm.com
Not only does it provide you with *one* translation, but five different translations that you can view all next to each other, the transliteration of the original arabic for those who can't speak arabic, and the actual arabic of the Qur'an. It has a very comprehensive search engine, so if you're looking to find a certain verse, it does the job pretty darn well :)
Hope that helps!

The qur'an was revealed in Arabic language .. there is only one version since Qur'an is protected by God .. but of course there are different translations
[4:82] Do they not consider the Quran (with care)? had it been from other than God, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.
[9:112] We have, without doubt, sent down the message; and we will assuredly guard it (from corruption).
Edite: here is a site for diffrent translations

There is only one version of the Qur'an, but there are several English translations of it. The best one I have read is A. J. Arberry's The Koran Interpreted.
Dawood's translation is pretty good, too (Penguin Books), but the suras are arranged in a different order.

there are lots of "versions"...they call them translations.
Best thing to do, is ask a muslim what version, err translation, they prefer. A koran today does not have the same words or meaning as one from 20 years ago- sorry- translation..
They will say the koran is perfect, and that the original arabic koran is unchanged, but thats all bogus, as hardly any muslim on Yahh at least reads arabic, they are all posers.
