Hives are small red blotches on the skin. They are usually caused by an allergic reaction, but I've heard of them being caused by stress.

HIV is a bloodborne disease, that's spread mainly through sexual contact, but also through needle sticks, and blood transfusions.
There is no cure for it yet.

I wasn't sure which one you were referring to, so I provided info on both.

If you mean HIV, Human Immunodeficiency Virus, it is acquired by having sexual contact or blood contact (such as sharing needles) with someone who has the virus.

If you mean Hives, they are caused by a skin reaction to something, such as an allergy.

Usually an allergic reaction. I am allergic to bee stings so i break out in hives if i get stung. Its actually really scary because my throat can close off from the hives. I dont know of any other reason besides allergies....

I don't know which one you are talking about, HIV or Hives.
HIV--It is a Sexual Transmitted Infection. This infection is transmitted by semen, blood, vaginal fluid, and breast milk.
Hives--It is an allergic reaction, I once got it from a different type of fabric softener, and a type of plants. They itch, and they are very annoying.

Sexual Contact or Blood Transfusions

Exchange of body fluids. Sex fluids and blood.

Always use a condom, always. Never touch someone else's blood, even if it's on a cotton ball.

Never, ever do drugs.
