Sally,
You may never exactly know what your purpose is but I would recommend being open to a purpose that may drive you at different points in your life. For me, I thought my purpose was to get my PHD in counseling but onceI started doing it I realized that it wasn't for me. However, I realized that through my current job that I do good for others. For now, I am concentrating on living in the present and focusing on helping others in my daily life. My purpose has changed over the years and I am glad where I have been brought to date. I can't speak for exactly what works for you but I can tell you what my experience was.
I would recommend you live in the present and focus on living every day to the best of your ability. You will discover your purpose when you work to be the best person you can be. When you are seeking to be the best for yourself and only for yourself, you will be guided in directions you may not have even planned for.
Good luck and have faith.

That is a question many are still asking themselves. I myself have asked that many times. The answer is something that only you can give yourself. There may be times where you don't feel like you have a purpose. I have felt it. But remember that you are here for a reason even if you don't know what it is yet.

The bible tells you what mans purpose is, and that is to do the will of God. This is your only purpose in hopes that you get the reward upon his return.

to b honest, i don't know! everyone has a purpose and it may be to help others, to change or predict the future, or even just to live some boring life waiting for someone else to help YOU. by turning to your unconsious and asking it the question of your meaning maybe then you will find your answer?

Do you believe in God and your religion? Just be a good person, help others who have less then you, show others and tell them that you love them and be the best you can be at what you like. Everyone is here for a special reason. I'm sure you'll find yours too. Good Luck!!!

Sometimes we must first learn to live in the moment. There in the moment you will find purpose.
