I would think they are saying you are putting yourself above them, on a pedestal if you will. That everything you ever said or will say is the right answer and that thoughts they might share is irrelevant because your answer is the only answer. That your opinion is the only opinion that cannot be challenged without question because you are always right. You feel that you can never be wrong. A person would be like that because deep inside themselves whether conscious of it or not they may have an inferiority complex and put up that barrier Re: God complex. It happens alot. It's nothing new. I just shrug it off and let them have their fifteen minutes. It doesn't mean I Like them any less. I just don't let it get to me. Life's to short. Peace.

someone who has a God or Messiah complex is said to be someone who tries to save everybody they meet.
