Once but not since my grandmother got done with the teacher cause he dont have the job any more & they are not alowed to harm any child the teacher now days can be called into the child protective sevious i sure hope they turn the person in for doing that !!!!!!

I have not seen this and hope I never do. I have no moral problem with a reasonable spanking (unpleasant but should not smart for more than a few minutes and not leave marks). Even that may be illegal, however. Check the law in your state, county, etc.
However, it is never appropriate to expose a child's private parts, including his buttocks to all of his classmates. That is humiliating, demeaning, and wrong.

Used to happen all the time when I was in private school in the 1970s, to me and the other kids. Now it only occurs in private christian schools and public schools in states like TX, MS, OK, MO, SC, AL, FL and AR.
One teacher friend of mine only will work in schools that allow this kind of spanking and good for her.

No, but if I did I would make sure that teacher lost his/her job. That is simply unacceptable, if my child were to misbehave in class then it is my job to discipline him in that way not the teacher.

Yep! When I was in 2nd grade in 1979. She was spanked on her bare bottom. And the teacher was one of the best teachers at the school. I studied under her when I was in college.

Happened every single school day when I was in Grammar School in the 60's. Then your dad did it again when you got home to make sure you got the teacher's point. I would make it a school requirement if I were voted to be emperor. That and school uniforms - and they would not be stylish either.

That really happens!? I think its against the law but if it wasn't I'd keep my kids away from public school. I don't believe in that.
