What would you do if you're single and there's a guy who has liked you a lot for almost 1 year and a half? would he scare you off or go out with him if u like him a bit?
I'd also like to know if its normal for a guy to really like a girl this long.
he's kind of shy I only know through friends... he drops heavy hints though through body language.
p.s. I dont want to hurt him if I do go out w him and dont like it.
also confused if I Iike him or not.

You need to think about whether or not you like this guy. You definately shouldn't lead him on, that is just cruel. Whether or not it is normal for a guy to like a girl that long, I don't know. Perhaps go out as friends first and if you like spending time with him you can turn it into something more. If you can't see yourself with him, no hard feelings because you were going as just friends. I hope I have been at least somewhat of a help. Good luck!

i somewhat had the some problem...a guy that i worked with has like me for a long time..yeah we worked together but didnt talk much...he was a friend of a friend kind of thing...well i found out that he liked me and i think i CONVINCED myself that i liked him...and we went out for about a week or two...when i realized that i knew nothing about him...i told him that i wanted to get to know him better before the relationship went on...he took it HARD. he was upset with me and even thought i was seeing another guy and didnt tell him...we went through a lot of hell but now we are best buds...it will hurt him if you dont like him after going on a couple of dates because he has liked you for so long...it will just take time for him to get over you...just do what you want though...dont do something that you dont want to do just because you dont want to upset him.
