How does it effect you when people do terrorist acts in the name of your religion/God?

Truthfully it pisses me off. If they really cared about Islam they'd have some respect for all the Muslims around the world that have to live up to these double standards because of those dumb @sses. They think they spread Islam or whatever, they're just putting a bad face on it. Still (thank God) people are researching Islam and seeing the truth. Peace.

It hurts. It's as much of an insult if not more than a non-Muslim slandering Islam or insulting prophets or God Himself. In fact, it IS an insult when someone unjustly takes the life of another and invokes one of many of God's names. I really wish there was something more I could do, but I highly doubt that if a white American Muslim woman were to try to talk some sense into such lunatics, they'd have my head. But I can relax a little more knowing that God knows all that they do and *will* pay for the suffering that they cause others.
"Mr. Answer" might hear the daily condemnations of terrorists by Muslims if he'd unplug his ears and open his eyes.

First of all, everyone is entitled to his or her own interpretations of what terrorism really is. If you call defending your family and children against Israeli tanks and jets terrorism, then i guess you should come and see for yourself. If you call invading Iraq thousands of miles away from the States an act of honor and not terrorism, then maybe you should reconsider how you define and see terrorism.
In my opinion, terrorism is an act of terror to any country, society or religion. If the IRA puts out thousands of bombs in the streets of Great Britain then that's terror. If Eta, in Spain, does the same then that's terror. If Israel, as always has been, continues its blood shed to those without an army and weapons, then that's terror to the highest level.
I guess it really does not effect me that much because after all most people know that all acts of terror are eventually for the name of or purpose of something they deeply believe in. President Bush once mentioned what he was doing in Iraq a CRUSADE. Is getting poor young Americana's killed for his own fake beliefs an act of crusade.

There is approx 1.6 billion Muslims in the world only around 0.001% do such acts.
Comes to show how much we are hated and so they make up lies so that other people start to hate us too.
Nothings happened to me yet, as people here in U.K are very respectful

My Answer- obviously its wrong or i wouldnt be a Muslim if it was. I want to be in a religion of truth and peace. Therefore those that do such acts are not even seen as Muslims its against the Sharia (Islamic law) to kill innocent people. There for i am not going to apologies but i will advise everyone to study the Quran and Hadith and understand Islam for yourself.

None of the muslims that have answered so far condemn the murderous carnage that their religious brothers, sisters and grandmothers commit almost daily.
Why is that?

i find it offensive...it makes me sad when others kill in the name of my religion ... this is not the islam i practice.
