I think so. So here's my contribution. Scientology was created as A BUSINESS!!!

L. Ron Hubbard has been quoted as saying: "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion" http://lisatrust.freewinds.cx/scientology/hubbard.htm

The cult is mostly a high powered scam. It pays members 10% commissions, called FSM (Field Staff Member) commissions, on new recruits they bring in who take a course or get counseling, so Scientology members routinely try to "sell" Scientology to others.

The new members then, in turn, donate vast amounts of money to the "church". Here is a run-down of all the costs involved with Scientology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology_as_a_business#Costs

Here is testimony from a woman who had been involved in exposing Scientology and other cults for most of her adult life: http://www.clambake.org/archive/books/tsos/sos-19.html

Even more proof that Scientology is out for your money... here is Hubbard discussing turning Scientology into a "religion" for profit:

"I am not quite sure what we would call the place - probably not a clinic - but I am sure that it ought to be a company, independent of the HAS but fed by the HAS. We don't want a clinic. We want one in operation but not in name. Perhaps we could call it a Spiritual Guidance Center. Think up its name, will you. And we could put in nice desks and our boys in neat blue with diplomas on the walls and 1. knock psychotherapy into history and 2. make enough money to shine up my operating scope and 3. keep the HAS solvent. It is a problem of practical business. I await your reaction on the religion angle. In my opinion, we couldn't get worse public opinion than we have had or have less customers with what we've got to sell. A religious charter would be necessary in Pennsylvania or NJ to make it stick. But I sure could make it stick." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology_controversy#L._Ron_Hubbard_and_starting_a_religion_for_money

The man who invented the religion also wrote a self help book on making money. In it, he says that he quickest, most efficient way to get rich is to create a religioh. Then, he created scientology. i feel bad for all the people who have fallen into such a sad place. God have mercy on their souls!

Also known as a cult when someone makes up a religion in order to defraud and mislead. The CULT of Scientology is the correct designation in this case.

Not a scientologist, but, yes that is true. There was another "religion" established besides Scientology that was a result of that bet with L. Ron Hubbard, although I cannot recall the name of the other ... obviously, not as "successful."

There are many that do warn them. However, it is a cult that has a very attractive aspect to it. It is all about you being able to control your destiny.

My main question to a Scientologist would be to explain how they know about the alien emperor that threw all those people into the volcanoes before dropping fusion bombs on them.

Forget it .
Why would a Scientologist want to communicate with you. You can't even spell the word right, and the rest of your
"information" is also just as stupid.
As for warning us , Iooks to me like you should sort yourself out first before worrying about anyone else.
SCOTTY is NOT going to beam you up, your stuck here just like the rest of us. Try to work on your manners , spelling, and general intelligence while your here.

Contemporaries of Hubbard, other science fiction writers, say that he bragged that he could make up a religion and get people to believe it. Trying to track down who wrote about it.

Just as with any cult, they will not listen, no matter how outlandish the doctrine. When God wants them to know truth, He will show them truth. Getting through to any cult member is fruitless, unless God opens the way.

Like I've said before, anything man-made is already broken. It's a shame, isn't it?
