just like an image of a person is usually a couple of dimensions below their actual level of existance...
i would have to believe that our image of him is a couple of dimensions below his level of existance...
also just like the images we attempt to create of ourselves fade quickly over time and tend to represent only flash instances of truth obscured by the perspective of the instrument capturing the image........ I can only imagine how terrible we do of truly representing the real essence of the God from whose likeness our image was created and i would imagine often confused with corruption and deceptions..as those fades and misrepresentations of moments in time
and no you didn't put it to sleep and if you thought so, then i just woke it up from your terrible analogy... sizzle....hahahaha
come see me when you grow a real brain ... Einy

We were made in Gods image, then we sinned. We didnt sin and were made in the image of God from that sin. Before sin, Adam was in the image of God, he then sinned and was not spiritually with God but his appearance didnt change. Thats like saying that ababy is born, the mother goes out after the baby is born and gets some std then the baby will have it. wrong since the baby was before the std. Obviously you have little knowledge about the God that you are trying to 'put to sleep' as you would say. You cant argue a statement without knowing the other side.

No, you need to wake the baby back up. Gods image is a far cry from the sinner Man.
If it were the same, then God=like Man on the earth would corrupt and deceive at deity levels, which of course is untrue.
Yeah, go on wake up that baby, cause she's a never sleeping...

If the mortal is the image of God, then God gets born, sins, and dies 24/7. That is a pretty busy schedule. You by no means "put this baby to bed," but rather, woke it up and its all yours now! It had to happen sooner or later.

Why as a non-believer do you care so much about what God does in His spare time or what His character is like or anything else about Him? Check your motives...if you are seeking answers, open the bible which contains them all...if not, ask yourself why you choose to be this way.
I know it's because He has placed in each man a desire to know Him and an innate knowledge of Him (like an adopted child seeking their biological roots).

God created man and woman in His image prior to the fall. The Bible clearly states that God is holy and without sin in any way. This is why sin separates us from God and why Jesus died in our place for our sins so that we can come back into realtionship with God.

Yes God could be all those things, but he is perfect. We are imperfect, so we take all the traits God has blessed us with and pervert them. God is all knowing, we are not. We live in a world of temptaion and sin, God doesn't. So yes I believe that God can do anything he wants, but that isn't what he wants. He is Love and grace.

Again God is a trinity. God the soul, The holy spirit the spirit, and Jesus The Body. We humans have body, soul and spirit.
This is how we are similar. Although he is perfect we are not. He is all powerful, we are not. He is everywhere, we are not. He was always here, we again were not.

It's the image. Made in God's appearance. Then the fall of man happened and he was nothing like God. Though we can be saved from doom by Jesus Christ by confessing our sins and repenting and continue to walk in grace. God cant have sin in his presence, it's impossible for him to go against himself.
