Me and this girl i like were suppose to go out to the movies tonight. i asked her out friday and she said she would go.
about 2 hours ago i texted her to see if she still wanted to go. she told me her mom wanted to go christmas shopping with her.
girls, did i get stood up? is his a excuse you would use if you didnt want to go?
What should i do/say on monday?

She might have been genuine, but I'm sure if that were the case, she would have told her mother she had a date.
Let it go - if she likes you, she will ask if you can go another time. If she doesn't don't ask her again, get someone else to go. Incidentally, what sort of film were you going to take her to see - an action pack or romcom?

I don't think you got stood up at all. She could be telling the truth after all christmas is right around the corner. Give her another chance, ask her out again and if she turns you down this time. THen you know where you stand...

It appears she did stand you up. On Monday you just smile at her and say "Hello" and go about your work as if nothing ever happened. Don't let her know it bothered you. If anyone asked you what you did tell them how much fun you had doing _____
what ever you did because they are all going to be looking for your reaction. When you show no reaction then it will be egg on her face not yours. Be very relaxed and at ease.

On Monday, show no disappointment for her insensitivity and disrespect of her commitments. Chalk it up to the fact that she has no class. She needs to come UP TO YOU and apologize. Remain friendly and pleasant just do not mention it first. If she does not give you the respect of an apology, just remember, what goes around comes around, and she is not worth a date!

you might have gotten stood up, but maybe not. tell her on monday that u really like her and you want her 2 give u a chance and if she never really wanted 2 go out that you would've understood if she had told u.

There is only one way to truely find out if she ditched you. Text her again and ask her to go another time. If she says ok then you didn't get ditched. When the reschedule time comes about if she uses another excuse then it means she ditched you dude. Good luck. Later....L.G.

MOnday I would ask her how did it go with her mom just to let her know you remembered and you care!!!! No you did not get stood up christimas is coming up she couldn't tell her mom NO!!!!

maybe she was telling you the truth on monday ask her out again. if she gives you another excuse just say good bye with your head up high.
