I asked him to join us for a trip and he agreed. we got along very well and as we left he insisted i should pay him a visit in his town. if the date didn't end up in a kiss, is this a sign that he didn't really like me that much but was trying to be polite and keep a good friendship with me?

Girl, guys won't kiss u on the first date because they r like spineless jellyfish around us! They won't express their feelings on the first date and thats probably why he didn't kiss u. He might have been afraid to because he probably didn't know what u would have done if he did kiss u! What I am trying to say is that u need to give it some time. If he truley luves u then he will wait. Good luck girlfriend! Toodles!!

If a guy tried to kiss me on the lips on the first date I'd be a little turned off. if he didn't kiss me at all then I would think he didn't like me. But I usually don't kiss on the first date

Well it doesn;t mean he doesn;t like you alot of times guys are really shy what that whole end of the night kiss thing cause he doesn't know if you want him to do it...or if he really should because it is just the first date and all.

I don't think so. If he wants to take it slow then let him! I'm sure there will be many other dates for first kisses! Now just be patient and let things go on oneat at time!

I wouldn't view that as he doesn't like you. Think about it... if you give your kisses away like free samples at a grocery store, thats what they willl be worth, FREE.
I would view that more as he respects you, a lot of great relationships starts out this way!

no, it could mean he's taking it slow. Which would you prefer? why is it that as women we rush to get intimate instead of getting to know the person. Then after we have gotten to know them and realize that they are not we are looking for we end up feeling used. Take it slow.........if he's yours you'll get him (to kiss for years to come).

most guys wont admit they are shy to kiss on the first date it doesnt mean he didnt like you just wait till the second date

I personally think that it sounds like he wants to start off by being friends. and that is a GOOD thing. but,,,, sometimes friendships move along very fast....good luck sounds like you have a very nice guy there.
