The whole thing was totally ridiculous! I'm sorry 3 people out of 300 million died because of eating spinach.
Do you know how many people get e-coli from meat and other foods and have serious complications or die?
Do you know how many people are dying for AIDS each day??
The FDA gave the California vegetable farms a real hurtin' because of this and we're all paying for it.
Stay away from the bagged stuff and eat fresh. Support your local farmers!
And I expect to get a lot of thumbs down for the way I feel.
But let's get real.

Yes, you can eat it now. But I would still advise of thoroughly washing and/or cooking it.
Good luck and happy eats!

I'm personally not eating any bagged vegetables like lettuce or spinach again. Fresh or nothing.

I think the ban has been lifted. If you can find it in the grocery now, then it must be okay. They wouldn't be allowed to sell it otherwise.
