You state and I quote,
I perfect myself as much as possible for my own sake and everyone else because the world needs somone to be perfect ALL the time.
Dont make me laugh thats the funniest thing I have read on here. You pass judgement on other then claim to be perfect. Who are you to judge when you obviously lack even the basic understanding about human emotions.
I certainly dont need some one like you thinking they are perfect. Not for my sake. You are no Champion of the human race.
The Higher you put yourself on that pedastal the futher you will fall.
You are narrow minded by failing to understand the reasons for some one who wants to commit suicide. Trying to understand the causes means you can change the life of some one who wants to commit suicide. Instead of focusing on the after effects try looking for the cause
By been narrow minded means you are blinkered.
Been blinkered means you are not perfect and you search for perfection is faulty and you will never become perfect while you are blinkered.
Until you learn to look around with open eyes and an open mind you search for perfection will not sucseed.

I would be very interested in how you would feel if someone close to you committed suicide. Say it was a member of your immediate family, are you saying that you would not grieve for the person because grieving is an emotional process. Would you feel nothing at all? If so you would be anything but perfect. What is your definition of over emotional? You need to wake up and look at the real world around you, nothing in life is perfect and never will be. Your ideal of a perfect life seems to me to be an unemotional, unfeeling uncaring world. If that is the way you feel things should be you are going to live a very sad and lonely life.
You believe in your apocalyse and waste your life preparing yourself for it, then when you look back on your life you will realize what you have missed.

Far from perfect, you're more delusional.
And it's an emotional response to say that people who committ or cntemplate suicide are selfish & don't think of the people left behind. Most often, it's those left behind that the victim is considering - ending their suffering.

I love it when people come out with, 'its a sin, god gave us life as a gift' I wonder if the people who commit suicide or even attempt it see it as a gift?
If this is the gift then then why did 'he' give out s**t like the woman who has no longer got a daughter and seems to have married a b*****d? I can only express my relief that she wasn't successful and hope that her future is brighter than her past.
Its interesting that you refer to them as suicide 'victims' then say they are selfish. Bit of a contradiction. Wake up to reality you selfish a**e. Some people have not been fortunate enough to have the life or support you appear to have enjoyed. For them they feel its better to be out of it. The last thing they need is hearing you giving them the third degree and calling them selfish.
By the way what makes you think you are perfect and when did you become conceited enough to believe that your 'perfection' benefits the world.
Your attitude and immaturity are far from perfect.

In uk alone which is a very small country something like 5000 people commit suicide each year, the attempted ones is probably 5 times that. Please do not try to make light of this situation, in surveys more than half of any population have previously considered this as an option. So you never know you may find yourself back on here asking for advice. If that does happen i hope that people are a curteous to you... I mean you wouldn't want them to take this piss.. Would you.?

People who attempt to commit suicide are generally as low as it's possible to get and deserve help and understanding. Apocalypse? That's just part of a fanciful story designed to scare the life out of gullible people. If you are silly enough to accept it then you also deserve sympathy.
On the other hand you could just be absolutely nuts. Maybe you should ask your doctor to increase the dose in your fortnightly injection. Then go and have a nice long lay down. Poor thing.
Well said Jat and Biggywee!

Perfection requires one to understand the basics of human emotional inclusion. If that necessity is broken then the overload to survival overrides the need to dispel paranoia. Once it is broken, human companionship becomes a ghostly galleon sailing on the high seas. If pirates are attracted then you must show the strength to carry on, otherwise you could be overcome by the mob. Riots can engulf cities but those that are willing to police the ghettos are better thought of than those who clean the lower decks. In other words, believe the colour of the flag but don't take it as Gospel.

People who commit suicide, or who think about it, for the most part are not in their right mind. They are not seeing the world through rational eyes. Mental illness does not allow you to see the world like most "normal" people do.
There was a time when I felt bad enough about myself that I started thinking about it and planning it. It wasn't that I had no care for my family and friends - it was that I saw myself as so flawed and un-salvageable that I'd be doing them a favor. I was severely depressed, and could see no future for myself other than the hell I was in right then and there. I'm lucky God intervened for me, and now I know I'll never consider that choice again. But I was not thinking in rational, logical terms... that's what mental illness does.
Unless you have ever been in that state of mind, you cannot begin to understand it, and you have no right to judge it.

wow........ it never ceases to amaze me how nasty and selfish some people can be. do u not understand that depression is an illness, like any other illness, and when a person has suicidal thoughts it's usually because there is a valid medical reason behind it, like a chemical imbalance ? you really have to be the most narrow minded, selfish, uninformed, arrogant person that i have ever had the misfortune of seeing on Yahoo answers, and believe me, i've come across some total muppets..... i seriously hope that no one u love or care for ever suffers from depression, because one thing is for sure, they'd never be able to rely on u to help them......

yea..wheres your compassion lady...I had a brother that committed suicide at the age of 24. It's something that you cant just say oh well over. Until you've walked in someones shoes for their life ..you know nothing about it. Your thoughts on this subject are totally bizarre...Having a heart and compassion is part of being a decent human being. Until you get it...may someone help you! Who and what is pathetic? And you are way far from being anyways near PERFECT.
