it's so sad we lost the ability to speak español. if i am elected presidente de las pilipinas, i will outlaw english and reinstate español as la lengua franca de mi país!! hijos de putas, why filipinos like american culture better than spanish culture, i will never know! i prefer spanish porque mis abuelos eran españoles.

Napakalapit ng Castellano (Spanish) sa Tagalog. Kung binabasa mo ito tanga ka lang kung hindi mo maintindihan. O hindi ba halos lahat ng salita sa Tagalog ay galling sa wikang Kastila? By the way I am a Tagalog whose native language is Tagalog, Pilipino as others call the language. Now here is the translation in English of the first three sentences I wrote in my language: "Spanish is very near Tagalog. If you are reading this you got to be stupid if you do not understand. Isn't it that most Tagalog words are Spanish in origin". You speak Spanish, you tell us how near Spanish is my language. We also have many languages that Filipinos call dialects even though they are not mutually intelligible.

Como estas (Kamusta)....they are parts of the philippines that still speak Spanish... they are called Chabaquenos.. or something... it is still partly spanish...
we actually speak in Filipino... my dialect is tagalog.... it sound pretty spanish actually since most of the words are based on spanish... many students take spanish lesson on their college years as their foreign language study...
filipino tongue can actually adapt on most of the language pretty easy...
we learn english from the American Invasion... and however they call it, it is still Invasion....
How i wish the brits conquered us instead...hmmmm

first of all in the Phillipines, even though they were taken over by the Spanish, they have their own language. The Phillipines speak Tagalo. And they are not slow. they can learn other languages also just like you and me.
