It's really good.

The real Question is what are you doing with it?

If your not doing art work or photography it may be over kill.
Rember the more the megapixels the bigger the file, the more space you need.
But it make really good crisp pic's.

Look for ease of use and practicality for your needs.

Yes, i have a 7.2 casio, and it is amazing, so an 8.1 should .9 more amazing :D

what it does is ables you to zoom in more in your phoros with out blurring them up, also if you take good photos, thay make great desktop wallpapers. e-mail me at Cattadoris03@hotmail.com and i can send you a picture that i took with a 7.2 megapixle.

i hope this helps

on a digital camera? VERY GOOD, mine is like 3.2 and it SUCKS!!! All the pics on mine are crappy, but my friend has like 6.1 and there amazing. So defintly an 8.1 will be AWESOMELY AMAZGING!

if you're not talking about cameras, i have no clue!

Sure. The quality of the pics will be remarkably better than say one with just 3 mpix.

The difference will be when you blow the pictures up. Quality will be maintained with color and sharpness.
