Hello you maybe fit but if your immune system is running low that will be why your getting alot of colds. I used to have the same problem, id find myself constantly getting a cold wether it was in the winter or summer. It didnt matter.
My advice to you is start taking Vit C and Zinc tablets/capsules one every morning. They both strenthen your immune system and keep colds away. Ive been taking them now since Feb this year and so far so good, Ive not YET had a cold this year, not even a sympton of one AND ive been around lots of people who have had or have got a cold.

Take a look at your environment. Do you wash your hands often? Are you in contact with others during the day? Most colds are transferred by hand to eye/nose contact. Keep some alcohol gel on you to keep your hands clean; don't use public inkpens and don't let anyone use yours; after shopping, use your alcohol. Get some saline spray for your nose and use it to rinse your nostrils especially if your around anyone who is sneezing. Also, are you heating your living space? If you are, use a humidifier to keep your nasal cavities from drying out. When the nasal passages get dry, they become a great place for bacteria to breed and get into your bronchi causing bronchitis and a dry cough. If you don't have a humidifier, use a pan of water beside your bed at night to keep the air moist. I just read an article on keeping socks on your feet at night; warm feet, less colds. Also, hydrate yourself with well with water, lay off the soda and salty foods. Chicken soup is great for sore throats or sinus congestion. Get a flu shot. Hot tea and aspirin (with food) will also help with a cold. Add a good multivitamin. Hey, I don't charge for my good medical advice, but maybe I should? What do you think? LOL Godloveya, honey. Hope you're feeling better.

Yeah its all part of getting to live with the herd so to speak!!
I was always catching colds from my patients, finally I built up enough antibodies and am now OK, If you have just started a new placement then its expected I`m afraid. Make sure you keep all the usual remedies to hand.

hi, try putting your age in, that helps. and i take it u don't smoke or consume alcohol. these both decrease your immune response. try taking vitamin supplements. i take vit c, zinc, and vit e, personally. at least take an antioxidant. these protect healthy cells from diseases. drink plenty of water, can't stress this enough. clean and disinfect your environment. your toothbrush...when u are sick boil some water and place your toothbrush in for about 10 min or so to kill any bacteria or virus. and change your toothbrush out with a new one often. also, this sounds lame, but brush your tongue and gargle after u brush with antiseptic. this info should get u started.

Maybe stress! Or maybe you just have weaker immune system then others! Jus take regular vitamin C tablets, that will help with your immune system. No need to take multi-vitamins if your diet is healthy and varied.

That used to happen to me, and severe chest infections too ... my doctor told me to buy vitamins - Sanatogen Gold to be exact - while ever I am taking these I am much better. I have had only two this year!
My advice would be to get some, and take them regularly.
