What is the cerebrospinal fluid pressure (CSF) at the lumbar level of a person in the sitting position ?

I'm really intrigued as to why you want to know.
It can't be very high, can it? Because it has to be drawn off, (rather than squirting out), when they do a lumbar punch. Also, in brain surgery, when the skull is opened it doesn't come pumping out.
So - sorry but I don't know. Interesting q. though.
