Easy French Onion
Slice onion and saute in butter. In a sauce pot combine cooked onions, beef broth, and about 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce. While this simmers cut bread into large hunks and toast (brush them with a dab of olive oil to get them really crispy). If you have oven safe bowls ---spoon soup in, top with piece of the bread and cover with mozzarella, place under broil for a few seconds until gold and bubbly. You can also do this in the microwave.
Veggie soup is just as easy, start by sweating the sliced veggies in your pot, a pinch of salt really helps this process along (would not put the broccoli in at this point) After a few minutes add the stock/broth using a spoon to make sure all the little cooked bits are scrapped off the bottom of your pan. You could add the tomato sauce at this point if you like, I prefer a can of whole tomatoes. If you want a thicker soup add in the potatoes, you could also dump in anything else you had on hand....can of corn niblets, peas, rice, etc.... *I have never made veggie soup with beef broth, I am sure it will be fine, I have just always used chicken.*
Now I am hungry........Good Luck!

Greetings!
Easy. simmer onion till brown use some of the butter to carmelize them. use your onion soup packages or the beef broth.Add water according to the directions on the soup package you are using. Take the french bread cut it into cubes and brown it under the broiler. Bring your soup to a boil not being afraid to use a lot of onions. let simmer for about an hour. When serving put some of the french toasted bread into the soup and the mozzarella cheese on top of it mmmgood.
Vegatable soup? Hey did you ever hear the fairy tale stone soup? It is the best recipe. Put any and everything into the soup with the beef broth and just let it low boil.
Wow this is exciting where are you I want some soup!
Good Luck

French Onion is super easy. Slice up a lot of onions, doesn't matter what kind. Saute those in butter for a LONG time with a good pinch of sugar. When they get brownish, add the beef stock and a splash of either the vinegar (or wine if you have it). Toast the bread slice, put it on top of the soup in an individual bowl, and top with the cheese. Broil it and watch carefully.
It's sooooo good.

Oven roast all the veggies except the onion and celery, 350 for 30min, Beef broth in a pot, saute celery and onions, add your spices or your auromatics, 4-8oz of tomato sauce throw in all the veggies heat it all up and call it soup, if you happen to have some pasta in the pantry grab a couple handfuls and boil them up and toss them in too

All fruits are fresh vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which can be used for food.

In the superstore, fruits are usually chosen far too soon. Some are rocks, many are bitter. Some of the fruit and vegetables are right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.
