every time i want to load up any microsoft office programme my computer tries to load up the set up and i end up having to run microsoft word, excel etc all in safe mode.
this has only started 24 hours ago how do i stop this? because everything was fine 2 days ago

Make sure you are not holding down the CTRL key when you start office.

Open any apllication of the office suite you have installed, then select detect and repair under the help tab.
You may have to do this with all the different Applications.
It's also worth running a full virus scan.
You might also consider visiting the microsoft office update site if you haven't recently.

Go to Word and cick Help and Repair installtion. You may need the disk.
If it doesn't help - then reinstall it.
If all fails, try OpenOffice because it is free and its quite good.
