I think we'll see copious use of recall elections in the future, is what I think...we've seen a lot of clowning around and high-handed abuse of the law and offices, corruption, fraud, a wholesale disconnect from public accountability, runaway spending, and no clear policy on issues like immigration.
The iron's hot for the Democrats to strike and make some good positive changes on immigration and other issues, nobody's going to want to deliver the Bad News, though, that some people have to start moving home...but that'll be as good a test as any of the Dems' moral mettle, to see if they can work out a 'dont go away mad, just go away' immigration reform policy of some kind...I don't think the american people are going anywhere,
and with more and more people reading about the border and immigration issues, popular support is really building to make good and lasting changes.
The fun part is, you start having good policy in these areas, all of a sudden, we'll start getting along better with Mexico and other countries, I believe. When legal immigration is honored, and illegal immigration refused, that'll be good times, there, 'cause it'll give people a great incentive to a) learn what the law really says, and b) abide by it. I'd like to see other countries build more schools and hospitals. They do enough of that, they're doing more to support their own people, that can only help, you know?

The American government does not care about the American people, they have proved it over and over and over again.
The voted down the death penalty even though the majority of people wanted it left alone.
They allow, even encourage, illegal immigration because they want the votes these people bring even though it has reached invasion status in the southern states.
It is time the American people gave up on it's government and started to elect people who really do represent the people of America!!!
Start the grass roots movement now.

Some truth in that and its not a new concept. Many politicians would love to have the 12 twelve million illegals become legal and vote for their party. I don't think its any more valid than any of the other reasons though.

All our government cares about anymore is giving themselves raises. A Civil War is not too far away because the government can't keep failing its citizens without being overturned.
