I love my bf very much but I feel jealous often, about things which I know I shouldnt. It makes me upset that I cant seem to control my emotions and always get angry about unimportant things. It is ruinging our relationship, and this is the person I want to spend my whole life with. Could counseling help? I have never gone before. Should I go alone, or with my boyfriend? Any advice would be appriciated!

First of all, what is jealousy? This is where someone is giving away something or attentions to another person that really belongs to you. Envy is actually the very bad feeling worth counseling. What is he doing? He should not be tempting you to feel insecure. If he is DUMP THE MAN! He is trying to convince you he is right and you are wrong. Apparently, your common sense is telling you different. He is the one who needs counseling for not being able to honor a relationship he should be committed to in the first place. Now go and be the strong and smart girl you appear to be!

YES, and if you feel you are jealous and cannot control your emotions, by all means do the counseling. I don't know about the boyfriend because it is not his issue but yours. But if the counselor suggest it, then allow him to participate.

Well i fyour going to counseling and if your bf loves you he will volunteer to go with you. Most of the questions the counselor will ask are for both of you especially he will ask him how he feels about you been so jealous. SO ask him to go with you and go in with the counselor too. Hope it works out for both of you.

It might help I'd go alone....you just need to remember that you're the one he wants because he's still with you and no other woman could ever compare to you.

trust and remember you are with him . not someone else . he chose to be with you because he wants to be . don't drive him away by trying to control him . except him i have many male friends and my x used to have many female friends . but they eather knew each other before we were together of worked with them . learn to beleive in your love for each other . if not it will distroy the love you share .
