No. There is no religious requirement for being President. The Constitution says the only requirements are that the President be someone born in the United States, be at least 35 years old, and have lived in the U.S. for 14 years. Here is the quote, from Article II, Section 1:

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

There is this thing called separation of church and state. That means that anyone, regardless of race, religion or gender can run as long as they are of a certain age and born in the US. That doesn't mean that this person would get elected though. Some people actually believe that just because you're atheist means you have no morals, which isn't true.

42% of the USA claims to be of a fundamentalist Christian faith. It seems unlikely that a candidate would announce himself as atheist no matter what he did or did not believe.

You do have to swear on the Bible at one point if I recall... but some famous ones have been good actors.
