When a boy gives you a passage from Corinthians saying, "Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy, it does not hate...etc."Also, he bumps into your hand a whole bunch of times, and when you playingly say, "hey whatcha doin'?" he says in a flirty way, "Oh, i was gonna hold your hand..." I have a crush on this guy and I think he might reciprocate my feelings, the problem is that we've been friends for almost four years. He's so shy and devout , I believe that contibutes to my difficulty in discerning whether or not he truly has feelings for me.This may sound stupid, but to Christian boys have certain ways of telling a girl they like them as more than a friend?

He likes you. He is trying to be a gentleman, and approach you about it in an honorable manner, instead of trying to immediately get into your pants. This is a great compliment to you. It means he doesn't think you are just easy game, that you are worth courting, and waiting for.

Be well.

Don't make the first move. Wait for him to be man enough to express his feelings toward you... then react accordingly.

Peace be with you.
