Even if you're not Zoroastrian, you are welcome to give your own thoughts on these matters:

1. Why didn't Ahura Mazda (the Wise Lord) just defeat Angra Mainyu (the Satanic figure) at the very beginning? Why let him have any dominion at all?

2. When will the savior come? Has the time already passed when the first savior was to come? If so, how is this explained by Zoroastrians?

3. Have there been incidents of apocalypticism among Zoroastrians like there have been among Christians?

1. Well then where's the Devil, that wouldn't make a very good story.
2. He came and went and nobody noticed, explained as duh???
3. Yes the Christians fulfilled the Zoroastrian apocalypse myth and killed them all, that's why I'm answering for them.

1. Originally, Ahura Mazda and Angra Mainyu were of equal power. They weren't like the Christian God vs. Satan. Gradually, Ahura Mazda has aligned more people with him, so he will eventually destroy Angra Mainyu. Why hasn't he (since he is now stronger)? I don't know.

2. I believe Zoroastrians have a savior to come, but I'm not sure and I'm not sure when.

3. I do not know.

1. This idea was added after Zoroaster died. He never spoke of Angra Mainyu

2. The idea of a savior is not from Zoroaster but from people who added to the religion long after he died.

3. Savior wont come since according to pure Zoroastrian it does not exist

1. The Lord allowed Satan to exist because He wanted to give mankind free-will. Without Satan there would be no humanity. Without the ability to choose good over evil we would be little more than puppets. Our free-will is our greatest gift, and our hardest choice.
