Some people might take it as fact...

Are you trying to feel superior by discounting what others may or may not believe?
You have to be careful as to what accusations you level at others. Of course people use their religion as a ground to justify self and feel superior...others have been so miss-educated that they do not know they have been taking down the wrong path by a charlatan. Others honestly believe and feel their way is the best for humanity and they honestly want others to share in their "truth".

So, just be careful. Reprimand the charlatans gently, ignore those seeking superiority, guide those who seek the truth, and forgive the ones who don't know any better.

Valid question.

Muslimah,
I feel at some point I have to agree with you. However, allow yourself some space for the benefit of the doubts. Just like reading Dan Brown's "Da Vinci code", most of its detaled writings even if Brown's claim is just a fiction, people tend to believe some truth to it. Most of what Brown wrote are really made up for entertainment purposes but the details of how was he able to make it convincing is what made many readers believed. I suppose the same thing happened to readers of the Dremelin's story.
It's not for feeling superior I hope, only for making themselves knowledgeable. I do not know if they are completely aware if it is just a make up.

OK, I give up! What was trimikoy's second life in the river dremelin?

I don't understand your example because I don't know who Trimikoy is or whatever.

But are you talking about if someone would ask something like, "Will Scooby Doo go to heaven?" ?

If so, I can't see how this is offensive. If it's fake, who would it offend? It's all theoretical.

Perhaps I don't understand your question though. If I totally misunderstood, I apologize!

Dear friend, they are mostly teenagers just trying to instigate someone. Don't worry about it.

Yes it is offensive. I have suggested many times that Yahoo give them their own site. But, what would we call it? Maybe, hate mail.

It can only bother you if you let it, ignore people like that, they usually do it to get a reaction, so don't even give them the pleasure.
