Those are tapeworms, and while someone googles the internet sources for you, I will tell you that there is no over the counter remedy for it. It needs a vet visit and meds from the vet to do the job. You might also consider treating your cat for fleas, as this is the most common way that cats get tapeworm.

Those are tapeworms eggs - your cat is heavily infested if there's a lot of them wherever your cat sleeps. The worms are in your cat's intestines and the eggs drop out of the cat's anus onto whatever the cat is sitting on. Luckily, one trip to the vet should do the trick. They'll give your kitty a shot that will clear the worms out. Take a feces sample with you to the vet and a sample of the eggs. Make sure to empty and really clean the litter box with hot water and soap, Also vacuum the carpet or chairs the cat lays on several times a day after the shot to pick up any stray eggs.
Best of luck!

Your cat sounds like he/she has tapeworms, most likely from flea bites. Make sure that you put a good flea product on the cat like Advantage. Then get Droncit or Drontal from the vet to treat the tape worms.

Any rice looking things coming from a cat are probably tape worm segments coming from it's butt. Tape worms are carried by fleas and need medical treatment or serious health problems can result. Consult you vet and take stool sample (in baggie or clean plastic container) and or "rice" sample.

Try to look at it under a magnifying glass.
Might be some sort of dandruff. No problem!
Might be parts of tapeworm. Talk to your vet!
Might be tick larvae. Inquire whether you live in a danger area and talk with your vet.
(In Europe there are some infected areas where ticks spread borreliosis and enzephalitis!) Ask your doctor!!!

Hi there...sounds like tapeworms. These are segmented which gives the appearance of rice. Tapeworms are caused by ingesting fleas while grooming and will require deworming as well as flea infestation treatment such as Frontline, Advantage, Revolution and home erradication as well.
