How would they know they are loved by God?

Yes He does love them. He desires them. Jesus said, "I have not come for the righteous, but for the sinner"

God loves all, atheists, agnostics, and theists. Atheists are not christians at all. And the bible fully explains how to get into Heaven and even provided an example in Jesus. If you choose not to follow the instructions then more than likely you will not reach the intended destination.

I think you're right. I've hung around with all sorts of atheists and religious people, and the cool guy/jerk ratio is a lot better with Atheists than Religious people.
Of course God has more love than I do, so he could probably love judgmental Christians as well.

God loves all of his creations. Even if they don't love Him. However, He does not love their sins......
There seem to be many many judgemental atheist here in this forum. How then can you say that they are not judgemental?
